We require either a customer-supplied hard sided cooler or insulated Munroe Dairy Milk Box to leave delivery items at your home in the event you are not home or available to receive them. We offer our Grey Galvanized box which features our classic cow stencil design. Once purchased, the Milk Box becomes your property. Our Custom Milk Boxes are made from sturdy construction using 20 gauge galvanized steel for a long useful life. See our product menu for details.
Munroe Dairy kindly asks that you place an order of at least $15.00 of products (not including delivery charge) for each delivery. With over 300 items currently available, and at competitive prices, you can feel confident that there is always something you will need each week.
A nominal delivery charge of $2.99 is applied to each delivery, regardless of size. The more you order, the more value you get from your delivery charge!
‘Backup’ Weekly Order
Our milkmen and women will deliver to your home on the same day each week. Most customers find it convenient to place a recurring “weekly essentials” order, so that they know they will receive their essential items even if they forget to place an order. Of course you can always make edits to the items in your delivery until 11pm the night before. It is easy to add or remove products from your “essentials” order simply by either leaving a note for your driver or by calling Customer Service at 401-438-4450. Please note that our minimum order of $15.00 will apply. If you forget to either place your order or cancel your order, we will be stopping at your home to check on you and leave this backup order.
If you are going on vacation or do not need a delivery, please call 401-438-4450, 24 hours a day, and leave a message for your driver. You can also cancel your following week’s delivery by using our online ordering system, provided you are registered.
We deliver on all holidays except Thanksgiving and Christmas. You will be notified by the dairy as to the delivery schedule for these two holiday weeks.
All billing is done on a weekly basis for the previous week’s delivery. It is requested that payment be made weekly also. We do accept Visa/MasterCard/American Express through our online ordering experience, which also allows you to setup for our Easy Pay Automatic Payment for your convenience. You may also pay by check. You may leave the payment in the milk box (in an envelope) for the driver or you may mail it to the office. Please include the top portion of the bill so it will be directed to the correct driver. There is a $20.00 charge for all returned checks.
Our Milkmen and women are paid on a commission basis, as they have for over 50 years. A percentage of your payment goes directly towards their paycheck, so we kindly ask that payments are made payments weekly to avoid an interruption in service.
Tips & Gratuities
Although we do not expect tips, if you feel that your Milkman or woman has provided service above and beyond your expectations, they are certainly appreciated.
